Stances

Stances are the martial posture layer of an EQL loadout. This page centralizes current effects and class availability so class and build pages can link here instead of duplicating tooltip text.

Stance System

Concurrent postureOne stance and one invocation can be active together.T1
ReuseCurrent reference data lists a six-second stance reuse timer, separate from invocation reuse.T2
AccessApplicable stances are available at level 1 for an active class loadout.T2
StrategyStrategy reduces Endurance charged when a stance prevents damage or creates bonus damage.T1

Switching posture is a tactical choice, not a separate attack. The stance changes the cost and resolution of later combat events. A stance that cannot pay its activation cost may provide reduced or no effect according to its own rule.

Balance-sensitive values: the catalogue records the current reference tooltip values as of July 21, 2026. Patch notes or current client tooltips supersede these values if they change.

Class Availability

Stance access is additive across active classes: a loadout can select any stance granted by at least one equipped class. It still maintains only one active stance at a time.
