Offensive Stance

Offensive Stance is a martial stance whose value depends on the build's damage schedule, Endurance budget, and encounter pressure.

Overview

System

Stance

Class access

Berserker, Bard, Beastlord, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Shadow Knight, Warrior

Primary value

Weapon-swing damage and sustained melee contact

Tradeoff

Consumes Endurance from bonus weapon damage

Current Effect

Increases outgoing melee damage by 100% and chance to hit by 25%; bonus damage consumes Endurance and the hit bonus weakens below 25% Endurance. T2

Build Synergy

Offensive is strongest when most of the rotation is automatic or weapon-swing damage. Compared with Striker, it gains less from frequent spell casting because time spent casting replaces boosted swings rather than filling long combat-ability cooldowns.

Tactical Use

Use it when the build can remain in melee and autoattack continuously. Prefer Striker when independent high-damage combat skills are the main engine and spells can fill their cooldowns.

Verification Boundary

Tooltip values and class access are current-reference data. Exact event ordering, rounding, resource-cost scaling, and interactions not explicitly named by the tooltip remain subject to combat-log testing and balance changes.
