A mechanics-first static reference for EverQuest Legends.
Purpose
This site documents how EverQuest Legends works mechanically. It prioritizes combat rules, class systems, hidden interactions, build theory, item effects, and developer-confirmed behavior rather than leveling routes, walkthroughs, or general new-player advice.
Reference Structure
- General: statistics, loot, instances, and the canonical glossary.
- Classes: standardized pages for every class.
- Combat: engine-controlled Combat Rules plus player-influenced Melee, Spells, Threat, Buffs, Pets, Stances, and Invocations.
- Builds: class combinations, stat priorities, and mechanical synergies.
- Appendix: focus effects, procs, click/worn effects, and planar armor.
Confidence Hierarchy
| Tier | Source type | How it is used |
|---|---|---|
| T1 | Developer / official sources | Directly confirmed by official documentation, patch notes, livestreams, transcripts, or developer statements. |
| T2 | Reputable reference sites | High-confidence supporting reference, including reproducible client-derived data; checked for inherited or outdated EverQuest material. |
| T3 | Community consensus | Corroborated player testing and broad agreement without authoritative confirmation. |
| T4 | Theorycraft & speculation | Inherited formulas, reverse engineering, limited tests, or hypotheses that remain provisional for EQL. |
Inline source indicators use only T1 through T4. Hover or focus a badge to see the tier explanation and the specific supporting source.
Current Build Status
v0.22 simplifies Build Catalog stance and invocation presentation, reorganizes class-reference sections, and moves Source Notes into the shared collapsible footer reference group.
