Invocation
Empowering Invocation is a magical invocation whose value depends on class composition, resource constraints, and the selected spell rotation.
Invocation
Cleric, Druid, Enchanter, Magician, Necromancer, Shaman, Wizard
Maximum spell-effect magnitude
Higher Mana cost and no casting-speed reduction
Increases damage and healing effects using the number of non-hybrid caster classes, at increased Mana cost. Current values begin at +20% damage and +10% healing, with +10% damage and +5% healing per additional non-hybrid caster. T2
Three pure casters reach +40% damage and +20% healing under the current reference values. Empowering applies to direct damage, DoTs, direct heals, HoTs, and eligible Bard area songs, so mixing Necromancer or Shaman DoTs with Wizard or Magician direct damage creates a broad amplified damage package.
| Non-hybrid caster count | Damage bonus | Healing bonus |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 20% | 10% |
| 2 | 30% | 15% |
| 3 | 40% | 20% |
Official July 7 and July 14 changes extended Empowering to DoTs, HoTs, and eligible Bard area songs.
Use it for short burns, efficient high-value DoTs, AoE clearing, or compressed healing checks. Swap to Arcane Mastery or Recovery when Mana or cadence becomes the limiting factor.
Tooltip values and class access are current-reference data. Exact event ordering, rounding, resource-cost scaling, and interactions not explicitly named by the tooltip remain subject to combat-log testing and balance changes.
