Arcane Mastery Invocation

Arcane Mastery Invocation is a magical invocation whose value depends on class composition, resource constraints, and the selected spell rotation.

Overview

System

Invocation

Class access

Enchanter, Magician, Necromancer, Shadow Knight, Wizard

Primary value

High-frequency detrimental casting at reduced Mana cost

Tradeoff

Does not directly multiply each landed spell’s damage

Current Effect

Reduces spell cast and recovery times by 20% plus 10% per additional Intelligence class, and reduces detrimental-spell Mana cost by 10% plus 5% per additional Intelligence class. T2

Build Synergy

Stacking Intelligence classes compresses both the cast and recovery parts of the rotation. Three qualifying classes produce the commonly tested 40% cast/recovery reduction and 20% detrimental-spell Mana reduction, making DoT setup, lifetap weaving, nuking, mez, and debuff refresh substantially faster.

Qualifying class countCast & recovery reductionDetrimental Mana reduction
120%10%
230%15%
340%20%

Current beta discussion reports that Shadow Knight contributes to the Arcane Mastery class count even though it is a hybrid in the broader class taxonomy. Treat that counting behavior as T3 until a developer-facing classification table states it directly.

Tactical Use

Choose Arcane Mastery when time-to-cast and sustained Mana efficiency constrain output. Swap to Empowering when individual spell magnitude matters more than cadence.

Verification Boundary

Tooltip values and class access are current-reference data. Exact event ordering, rounding, resource-cost scaling, and interactions not explicitly named by the tooltip remain subject to combat-log testing and balance changes.
